Splash By The Sea

We really enjoyed our meal. 3 of us got tacos - 2 shrimp and 1 tuna. My youngest son got the shrimp platter. It was huge! My sons enjoyed the side of waffle fries. My husband and I enjoyed the smashed potatoes (very chunky and well seasoned) and broccoli that was cooked to perfection (tender but still crunchy) and well seasoned. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Adding to the enjoyment of the meal but not overbearing. Each table is covered in white paper and there is a small bucket of crayons in the center. My sons enjoyed drawing as they waited for their meal and they are almost adults. The wait was only about 8 min from ordering. One note is that parking is in the public lot across the street. The restaurant is located in the ground floor of a condo development. If visiting at night the parking lot is well lit. The night we visited there was a very friendly kitty just outside the door.

The husband and I are saying at Villa Capriani for our anniversary and decided on dinner at Splash. Hands down one of the best decisions. First, if it’s just two of you, sit at the bar to avoid the wait. Second, all the cocktails are great. Third, take your time with the menu because everything is good. Fourth, just enjoy the great drinks, exceptional food, wonderful people and perfect atmosphere. Five stars.

Parking can be difficult.We did have to park across the street.And walk over. We had the sweetest server. She had the best accent She had to ask her questions just to listen to her. Appetizers are highly recommended. The dishes are big and they're all very tasty. It is loud so it can be hard to hear

Our server Mack was delightful and professional. The service was amazing and the Manager, John stopped by to make sure we were happy with everything. We ordered the crab dip appetizer which was super delicious. (Could have eaten two!!). We split the teriyaki Tuna with Wasabi mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was absolutely delicious and we would recommend it to anyone! The location was perfect and convenient. We ate outside on the back deck overlooking the pool and listened to live music which was a nice surprise. What a super cool find on our last night in Topsail. Thank you Mack and John.

When I saw gluten free chicken tenders on the menu, I knew I had to try this place. It did not disappoint! Gluten free chicken tenders are hard to find, let alone done well. These had the flavor and the crunch! I ordered the naked tenders with ranch on the side for dipping. It was excellent. My husband ordered the fried shrimp platter and he said they were the best shrimp he had had in a while! The service was also wonderful! Parking for the restaurant is across the street.

Finally back again after a year of medical stuff, FANTASTIC!! GF breaded shrimp to perfection. Best on the coast. Everything served hot and cooked properly. Lots of attentive service. Will be back on my next summer vacation. Happy Canadians. Thanks Catie :)

Absolutely loved our experience at Splash by the Sea! The staff was warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed dining on the back patio with a gorgeous view of the pool and ocean. The Wicked Tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes was out of this world—my girlfriend and I wished we could eat it every day! My partner also loved the garlic thin crust pizza. Our mojito, Pier Punch, and Boater Cream Ale were all delicious. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We noticed they also have live music a few nights a week—can’t wait to come back!
